SEEDERS SIMPLIFY PLANTING OF SOYBEAN IN RUVUMA

Soya ni Pesa Project (SnP) implemented by Caritas Songea in Collaboration with CRS Tanzania provides seeders to Soybean Farmers in Ruvuma region to enhance planting activities. Masanja Mabala, Filed Extension Officer from Hanga Cluster prepared a demo plant to Ukombozi A Group farm in Hanga village for farmers to learn on how seeder operate. Seeders were provided during 2016-2017 production and were available at Caritas Office for farmers to use during planting. Project did this after realizing how difficult planting of soybean is and also the impact if one don't adhere with recommended planting spacing.
